Sing aloud! Rejoice! For it is the Season of celebration. Sit around let’s talk about the birth of Christ. He is the reason for the Season.

It was great fun on December 8th as Premiere Academy held its annual school Christmas Carol to mark the end of the year. An event in which the story of Christmas is told through pantomime.

Even as the festive period draws closer, celebrations like this at Premiere Academy, is always an opportunity to teach students lessons about character development and obedience as it relates to why Christ must be remembered and celebrated.
The Premiere Academy December 8th, 2022 Christmas carol event had in attendance some school Board members, PTA representative, School Management, staff members and Premiere Academy students.

In line with traditional Christmas colours which include white and red, Premiere Academy students were dressed in their uniforms to render Christmas hymns and sing in celebration of the carol service.

The occasion focused on the birth and lessons that can be drawn from the events surrounding the birth of Christ; the lesson of giving, receiving and divine humility .
This year’s edition witnessed new and reformed activities in addition to the normal events such as; choreography, rendition of hymns, staff performance and special renditions by students.
Like the many purposeful activities of the school, the school believes that this event will help the students appreciate what unconditional love and sacrifice means, and why we must endeavour to let love lead always as a facilitator for forgiveness . It is also to make students get more involved in religious activities and appreciate the need to celebrate the birth of Christ and be thankful for the purpose and mission surrounding His birth.

The event saw the sharing of delicious food and drinks to feast on by attendees, especially the students. Everyone, together with the students attested that the event was indeed the best way to end the term and the year.
