In attendance were the Board of Directors ably represented by the Supervising Director, the Principal , the Head of Learning and Studies, the Head of Pastoral; Mr Oladapo Akintomide, Mr Rowland Eno, Mr Chris Akinsowon, Mr Olusegun Adesanmi respectively, the students, the academic and non-academic staff.
The concert was in various categories; ranging from vocal presentations, dances (Western and Cultural) as well as Instrumental presentations where the students displayed their skills on various musical instruments such as piano, drums, saxophones, guitars, violins, trumpets, trombones, clarinets etc.
At the programme, the HOD of Music and Performing Arts Dept, Chinyere Otah enjoined the students to embrace the opportunities the school has given them in the area of music and performing arts. She equally commended some of the outstanding students who have proven to be worthy ambassadors of the school at various music competitions.
To crown it all there was a beautiful performance by the school band (Sweet Mother) to commemorate women’s day, which fell on the same week with the programme. It was indeed a very beautiful and successful event.
