Since the inception of the International World Science Day for Peace and Development, endorsed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2002, every 10th of November all over the world serves as a poignant reminder of the profound role that Science plays urging us to engage the broader public, in discussions on emerging scientific matters.
With this in mind, this year's remarkable theme; "Building Trust in Science," reverberated through the hallways, as our Guest Speaker and Science Advocate, Engr. Mrs. Maduegbunam, Assistant Director at the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) Abuja, mounted the podium.
As she saliently expressed her views for the day including the concerns she held dearly about trusting Science and what the future holds as students,teachers and the entire school were ready enthusiastically waiting to hear from the seasoned Engineer. The crowd sat at the edge of their seats, poised to learn about the new developments and influencers. Further on, she spoke alot about identifying the key factors that propel the development and implementation of evidence-based solutions to the intricate challenges facing our world."

It propels the technological marvels simplifying our existence, from the device in your hand to the medicine safeguarding your health. So, building trust in Science is paramount for a society securely navigating the waves of progress.
A side attraction programme, a spirited quiz beautified the event to showcase the brilliance of young minds. Christland High School emerged not only as victors in points but as exemplars of knowledge- power. Great Height Academy and Focus School. Our first runners-up displayed commendable prowess, fostering a spirit of learning beyond the classroom walls.
