Graduation is one of the most important milestones in a student’s life. On Tuesday, October 6th, 2021, Premiere Academy had her 12th Graduation Ceremony where 80 students graduated in a grand style.
Premiere Academy is proud of the outgoing students for being found worthy in character and learning, and enjoined them to be good ambassadors of the school anywhere they may be.
Since the inception of Premiere Academy on October 15th, 2005, the school has been consistently committed to her vision of developing children into future leaders who are guided and shaped by the standards of critical thinking, ethical principles, discipline, and high achievements.
The school graduated her first set of students in 2010. Since then, Premiere Academy has been at the forefront of academic excellence.
The academy emerged as Third Best School in the National Examinations Council (NECO) 2014; Second Best Candidate in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in 2015; and Best School in the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) across West African sub-region in 2020.
The Guest Speaker of the occasion, Dr. Margee Ensign, who delivered a speech on the theme ‘Life long Learning,’ charged the graduating students to always value knowledge, while underscoring the need for them to distinguish between what is real and what is fake, evaluate information, and transform it into knowledge.
Ensign added, “The world is changing and connected, and if we understand the change, we can help change the environment to create a more sustainable future.”
She further stated; “The education you have received at Premiere Academy has given you an outstanding foundation. The world needs your creativity and hard work; Nigeria's future is in your hands.”
The best graduating student, Miss. Omeiza Hannah Ozavize, encouraged her fellow students to strive and make a mark globally, as she revealed that she would miss her classmates.
Other highlights of the day were the presentation of awards/prizes to best students in various subjects, prefects, and excellent performances during competitions
